As usual, Monday evenings are amazing and I would like to thank my fellow writers for supporting me even if sometimes I think that my stuff is horrible or not that well written. There is nothing harder than putting your soul on a plate for others to judge, but if you don’t take the chance nothing can happen and all you are left with is a circle in which you will maybe be stuck forever in. Every page is your precious baby and even if sometimes you must mold the baby a little more than you were expecting to, you still love that rough, initial, untouched baby, because that is what you first created. So, you guys are awesome and I couldn’t ask for better friends and colleagues to join me on this path we are all trying to walk on, with our foreheads held high.
After a productive evening at the writers group meeting, today started with beautifully drawn on cappuccinos. Sometimes I think I should ask our bartender friend for an interview, as I truly believe he is an artist in many ways. I have met many bartenders ever since I have been here and I have also made some friends among them, because usually they are very friendly and always waiting for someone to talk to, but this one is a bit more special. He has that vibe that fascinates and draws you his way, always with a smile on his face and with a joke on his lips. Maybe we all should have a bartender like that in our neighborhood, just to make our mornings a bit more smiley.
Because our days lately have been travelling with the speed of light, we often forget what day it is and how long has it been since we have had a good night sleep, but collecting the fruitage of our hard work makes every morning special and every minute well spent. .
