Day 150 – Children and stories

D

I’ve always loved working with children, seeing their curious little eyes looking into mine, watching them trying to imitate my moves,or involuntarily opening their mouths whenever I read them a story.

A few days ago I had to play my charms on nine children, all of them being around four years old. I didn’t even feel that half an hour pass and as soon as the story and little game that we had going on, finished, they looked at me and I could see that they would have wanted more. I had such a wonderful time and it’s always a joy entering the world of the little humans, which always makes me feel a lot more comfortable than being around adults. They see stories in a different way and they can understand a lot more easier the concept between good or bad, right or wrong and our characters can change sizes, shapes, colors, names, talents. Our story started in the jungle and it ended in the cottage of the seven dwarfs who were attacked by a lion in the middle of the night, but after a small fight and a conversation they all became friends and helped the lion go back into the jungle where he belonged.

The storytelling workshop is an amazing opportunity for me to see them grow and explore their own minds and also an opportunity for their parents to see them happier and communicating better. After a few sessions I am happy to announce that the exact days and hours are set and are going to be send to everyone who is interested  starting tomorrow. I am looking forward to meet your little ones and join them on their path of imagination.
