Day 222 – New working space

D

Because the spirit of Holidays is felt everywhere and even at home things are starting to be a little hectic and messy, I have decided to find a place where I could work in peace for a couple of hours. I am a night person which is kind of the opposite of a morning person, but being sleep deprived, lately I found myself falling asleep on the couch more often than I would want, so I said to myself I should use the afternoons as a working time, while Ephia takes her nap.

Said and done. I have written about this place many, many times, when I was describing the bartender who happens to be one of Ephia’s best friends and even did an article on it here, recommending it for other moms to bring their children to. The bar is called Torello and although it’s rather far from the center of Florence, near the Scandicci area, it’s right on the corner of my street which makes it a great place to spend my afternoons to work. They have amazing coffee and the hours I am planning to spend here are always slow hours, making it a quiet, lovely place to think. Also, let’s face it, it’s always great to work in a place where everyone knows you and are your friends.

These being said, my interviews and translations are winking at me from the other tabs opened on my computer, so I should comply and play with them. May you all have a beautiful evening and may you breath in, only the happiness you can smell and hear on the streets.
