Day 236 – Busy little bee

D

I feel the need to be creative and since I’ve been having some great couple of days I decided to give myself a treat and create a new story.

It seems that every day I meet new people, even if they don’t speak to me, even if they just glance at me once, or keep their eyes blocked into their smartphones. They are all interesting people, with stories worth telling, with baggage no one can even imagine and most of all with dreams of their own. I often think about these so called dreams, that are suppose to keep us going and alive, but it’s the story behind the dream that creates them. We all have goals, dreams, hopes and some may seem lame to others, but no matter how boring or uninteresting they may seem, they are equally important. Why am I rambling about dreams? Because while waiting for the tram for example, I sometimes look around me and try to guess what the person next to me is like. My story about him and his true story may be two totally different things, but that’s not the point. I can play with his gestures, I can pretend he is my best friend, thus creating a new life for him, whether it is tragic, interesting or comic.

We never look around us anymore, just to observe, to feel, to understand, to imagine. So, today, while going home, I found my new subject and he is a very interesting and amusing guy. Do you ever stop to look around you?
