Day 275 – Spring is here!

D

Finally the sky of Florence took pity in us and cleared up, blessing our limbs with the warm rays of the sun. My body was getting tired of always being wrapped in a hundred layers of clothes. Now, the fact that the chocolate fair is still going on, makes life in Florence even more beautiful. The fair is going to end on February 15, so don’t miss your chance and go get some chocolate intp your system.

After I stuffed my face yesterday with three whole giant cubes of “cremino”, I felt happy and satisfied. Suddenly the depression that kept threatening to come along and eat up some of my neurons, disappeared like magic. Who knows, maybe you do need chocolate when you feel a little down. I woke up today feeling ready and prepared to face any challenge. My notebook screamed at me to open it and organize my week. I didn’t; I want him to be surprised later this evening.

These being said, with the story of the Childless mother behind, a new one started winking at me, asking to become famous. Because children are a big part of my life and because of the Storytelling workshop I am teaching, I decided that the next story should be for them. I am mostly known for my dark side when it comes to my writing and often enough the writers from my group have trouble reading my stuff because of that. Despite that, one of my dearest projects is a story book for Ephia that she could read when she is a little older. For the next story, I will take the sketch of an idea I had for the book and develop it here in the next several days. Are you ready for a nice story with magical creatures, heroes and faeries?
