Day 309 – Preparations

D

This Monday was the second time I missed going to our regular writers meeting. I guess sometimes I wish I could fly there and fly back home when it’s over, but since that’s impossible and exhaustion is lurking me these days, I abandoned the fight and stayed home.

There are a lot of events and things going on this week. Tomorrow my good friend, Lee Foust is having a reading at St. Mark’s Church and since he is an amazing performer I can’t wait to show up and give him my support. On Thursday the opening of the event 3 x 3 : The Eyes of the Photographers, will be hosted by Pop Cafe in Santo Spirito and Ephia’s photos will be part of the exhibition, so we will be there admiring the work of those three young, talented photographers. Next on the agenda, on Friday and Sunday, Oliver Twist, the play I’ve been helping F.E.S.T.A Theater with this year, will be shown at St Mark’s Church. As you can see the week is filled with events, all dear to my heart, all a must see.

In addition to all these beautiful things, I am preparing an interesting event myself, hoping to involve a lot of writers or aspiring writers in it, trying to put together something that will unite great ideas and thoughts that will build incredible stories together. Details coming very, very soon. Meanwhile, I will enjoy this full on week and I am hoping to see you there at any one of the shows.
