Day 51 – Weird conversation with my pain

D

I hear a knock like someone knocking on the door. I ignore it and move on with my day. “It’s nothing important.” I tell myself. The knocking becomes stronger and stronger.

“What are you? Leave me alone, I need to get on with my day.”

“I am your pain and I am kind of offended that you keep choosing to ignore me.” I hear the answer while a strike in my stomach makes me huddle.

“Please, I have no time for this. You are harassing me in over a week. Just go away!” I scream inside my brain while I crawl into bed.

“But I am so comfortable here” someone in my head answers while a knife is reaching out for my stomach and cuts it slowly into tiny pieces. “Besides I can’t go until I get what I came for.”

“Fine. What do you want?”

“I want you to accept me and lay down. Then I want to see you twist and twirl so bad that you wouldn’t dare ignoring me next time.”

“You got yourself a deal. Now go away!”

“Oh no, you missunderstood. You must first do the things I said and maybe I will reconsider torturing you after. Have a nice day.”

Knock, knock!
