With each passing day Okay, you’re right! is developing into something tangible. I am excited to give you a sneak peek and share another fragment from the book.
After my first meeting with Mark, the same question kept repeating over and over in my mind: Why doesn’t he write a book about his life?
When I got the courage to ask him, he replied without hesitation, as if this was a question strangers asked him, regularly.
“I’m not a writer. I am a storyteller. Whenever I tell people things; about life, philosophy, society, and culture; I am met with a healthy amount of doubt, disbelief, and antagonism. It’s as if they think I am spouting theories I just invented or hiding some underlying plot.”
“When I live by example, guided by the philosophies and principles I embrace, people seem to accept the truth of my actions and understand my reasons without a word spoken. They SEE reality rather than HEAR rationalization. So how could I write my book? Nobody would believe me.”
